Agricultural Radio Programmes in Indigenous Languages and Agricultural Productivity in North-Central Nigeria

This study investigated the influence of agricultural radio programmes in indigenous languages on farmers’ productivity and their implications for North-Central Nigeria. It specifically explored how knowledge produced influences productivity; acceptance whether behavioural changes result from aired affect productivity. Data were gathered through a survey 663 farmers selected three states’ multi-stage sampling technique (Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau). The hypotheses tested using regression analysis structural equation modelling. They revealed that R value was 0.677, suggesting highly significant relationship between Results also resulting greatly (F 558.358 at 0.000 level). concludes knowledge, change towards significantly agriculture.
